  • 1
    Delhi
    • Your Buddhist Tour India will begin at the moment of your arrival at one of the oldest cities in the world- Delhi. It is the capital city and it finds its name in the great Indian epics.
    • You will be greeted by our Havishe representative at the Indira Gandhi International Airport and after a quick briefing, will also help you through the check-in at your designated hotel.
    • Later you will proceed for a full-day guided tour of the city of Delhi, Rickshaw ride will be provided for visiting the winding streets of Chandni Chowk.
    • Continuing your Buddhist India tour, you will stop at Jama Masjid. It is India’s largest mosque that can embrace 25,000 people daily and is also known as The ‘Friday Mosque’
    • After that, you will visit the impressive sandstone structure which is the iconic symbol of India – Red Fort, which is the grandeur of the Mughal Empire. This is used as a stage by the Prime Minister of India to address the public and hoist the National flag on Independence Day.
    • Later proceed to the amazingly drive past through imposing India Gate, is also known as All India War Memorial; Parliament Building, which is a circular colonnade building housing offices of various ministries and a well-stocked library.
    • You will also drive past through Rashtrapati Bhawan. This magnificent monument cannot be compared to any other monument in terms of its size, immensity and magnificence. It is the residential estate of President of India.
    • After the end of your day trip of the Buddhist tour India, you can either return to the hotel or wander around the city, exploring various shopping hotspots or street food.

    Delhi – Lucknow – Sravasti (By Train – 6 ½ Hours + 200 KM, 5 Hours)
    • Early morning, proceed to check-out and you will be transferred to railway station by our representative to board a train to Lucknow
    • Upon arrival at Lucknow station and you will immediately proceed for Sravasti. It is the most important Buddhist pilgrimage site in the country, where Buddha delivered many of his important sermons.
    • Our designated representative will assist you at the Sravasti and also help you through the check-in at your designated hotel that has already been booked under your Buddhist India tour package.
    • Enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel.

    Sravasti – Kapilvastu – Lumbini (240 KM, 7 Hours)
    • Today in the morning, after having breakfast at the hotel, you will visit Saheth in Sravasti. The main attraction in this historic park is Gandhakuti and Kosambakuti, two chambers used by Buddha. It has many famous Buddhist Stupas, monasteries and temples.
    • Later, our representative will drive you to Kapilvastu, where Lord Buddha had spent his first twenty nine years of his life. It is a very important Buddhist pilgrimage site in the country and comes under the Buddhist Tour India package.
    • Continuing your trip you will proceed to the next destination, Lumbini.
    • Upon your arrival at Lumbini, check-in to your designated hotel for your stay in the city.
    • Enjoy an overnight stay and dinner at the hotel.

    Lumbini – Kushinagar (170 KM, 6 Hours)
    • In the morning after breakfast, visit Lumbini. It’s picturesque and tranquil backdrop makes it a heaven for tourist. It is also the birthplace of Lord Buddha.
    • Continue your journey to Kapilvastu as per Buddhist Tour India package.
    • After that, our representative will drive you to Kushinagar, one of the four most important places of Buddhist pilgrimage. It is the place where Lord Buddha delivered his last sermon.
    • Upon your arrival at Kushinagar, you will be checking-in to your hotel which is already booked under the Buddhist Tour India package.
    • After refreshments you will later proceed to the half day guided tour to visit Nirvana Temple, which is made of monolithic red sandstone. Perched high on a plinth, the temple houses reclining Nirvana statue of Lord Buddha. 
    • Complete your day trip by visiting Ramabhar Stupa, also called as Mukutbandhan-Chaitya. It is the cremation site of Lord Buddha.
    • Enjoy overnight stay at the hotel.

    Kushinagar – Vaishali – Patna (270 KM, 7 Hours)
    • Today in the morning after breakfast at the hotel, check out and continue your tour for your next destination, Patna, en route visiting Vaishali.
    • Vaishali is significantly associated with Buddhism. The lord Buddha preached his last sermon before his death in Vaishali.
    • Later, continue driving to Patna as a part of your ongoing journey of the Buddhist Tour India package.
    • Upon your arrival at Patna check-in to your designated hotel for your stay in the city.
    • You can spend the rest of your day relaxing at the hotel or exploring the city.
    • Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

    Patna – Rajgir – Nalanda – Bodhgaya (230 KM, 6 Hours)
    • In the morning after breakfast at the hotel, check out and leave for Bodhgaya.
    • En-route visit two important sites those are closely associated with the Buddhist religion, Rajgir and Nalanda.
    • Continuing your drive you will visit Bodhgaya.
    • Upon your arrival at Bodhgaya check-in to your designated hotel for your stay in the city.

    Bodhgaya
    • This morning after breakfast get ready for your full day of exploring the city.
    • Bodhgaya is a major Buddhist pilgrimage site.
    • You will start with visiting the magnificent Maha bodhi Temple. Images of Buddha and other figures can be found in the niche carvings of walls and numerous shrines and stupa that surround the temple. The Maha Bodhi Temple was originally built more than 250 years ago.
    • After the end of your day trip you can either return to the hotel or wander around the city, exploring various shopping hotspots.
    • Enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel.

    Bodhgaya – Varanasi (300 KM, 7 Hours)
    • In the morning after having breakfast at the hotel, you will later check out and leave for Varanasi, commonly known as the cultural and spiritual capital of India is one of the oldest inhabited cities of the country.
    • Upon arrival at Varanasi proceed to check-in and refresh at the hotel. Varanasi,
    • After resting for some time in the evening witness Aarti ceremony at Holy Ganges.
    • You can spend the rest of the day according to your own personal choice.
    • Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

    Varanasi – Agra (By Overnight Train – 12 Hours)
    • Early morning, proceed for adventurous boat tour on River Ganges to visit Bathing Ghats, where you can also explore Ghats and witness the live rituals of the world’s most important religion.
    • Enjoy the enchanting sight of sunrise while sailing on the holy waters of Ganga. At the background you will experience thousands of pilgrims having a bath in the holy water and worshipping fascinating sunrise.
    • Later on, head back to the hotel for breakfast.
    • After resting for some time, you will proceed to the popular tourist destination that is worth visiting, Sarnath. It is a well-known Buddhist site.
    • At evening, proceed to check-out and you will be transferred to railway station by our representative to board a train to Agra.
    • You will spend the Night on board.

    Agra
    • In the morning our designated representative will assist you at the Agra station and also help you through the check-in at your designated hotel.
    • Agra is situated on the banks of River Yamuna; it is one of the most visited tourist destinations. It is also a destination for love and history.
    • You will start with visiting the world famous Taj Mahal. It was built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his much-loved wife Mumtaz as a final resting place. Taj Mahal is one of the most enchanting and alluring monuments
    • You will continue your day trip of the city of Agra with visiting Agra Fort, which is an imperialist fort situated on the banks of river Yamuna and served as the center of operation for the Mughal emperor Akbar.
    • Later you will visit Sikandra, located on the peripheries of the Agra city. It is the tomb of Akbar. The ruler started building his own tomb during his lifespan, but later it was completed by his son Jahangir.
    • After the end of your day trip you can either return to the hotel or wander around the city, exploring various shopping hotspots or street food. 
    • Enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel.

    Agra – Delhi ( 200 KM , 4 Hour)
    • In the morning after having breakfast at the hotel, you will later check out and leave for Delhi.
    • Upon your arrival at Delhi you will be checking-in to your hotel
    • You can spend the rest of the day according to your own personal choice.
    • Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.
  • 12
    Delhi
    • This is the last day of your Buddhist Tour India. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before check out.
    • You will be provided travel assistance and other help to the Indira Gandhi International Airport to board a flight to onward destination with everlasting imprints of this mesmerizing tour in your mind.

Inclusion

  • You all will be provided with spectacular accommodation based on double / twin sharing basis, for each of your night stay at the hotel as a part of your Buddhist Tour India package.
  • Assistance will be provided to you during your arrival and departure at all cities by experts chosen for you by Havishe Travels.
  • Your everyday breakfast in the morning at hotel is covered under your Buddhist Tour India package.
  • All transfers will be provided as a part of your Buddhist India tour package, including the airport/railway transfers by an AC vehicle.
  • In every city that you will be visiting during your amazing journey, you will be provided with a local English speaking guide as a part of your Buddhist Tour India.
  • One mineral water bottle per person is included in the everyday essentials provided as a part of the India Tour Package
  • All currently applicable taxes of any sorts including GST will be covered and included under the Buddhist Tour India package.

Exclusion

  • Your  won't include any kind of Visa fees (if applicable during your journey from start to finish).
  • The entry fees to any historical monuments/ museums/ parks or any kind is not to be included under the Buddhist Tour India package.
  • Any camera charges/rides or extra curricular activities are not covered under your Buddhist Tour India.
  • Tips will not be given from the tour package (they are always optional, but some guidance will be given to you in the pre-departure information pack that you'll receive after the booking)
  • Any of the beverages other than drinking water & any costs of a personal nature is not covered under the Buddhist Tour India tour package.
  • Any of the International/Internal flights that are take to/from the start/finish of the trip is not covered under your Buddhist Tour India package.
